FAQ
The brush gets wet in dry mode
- The D100 is not suitable as a pure vacuum cleaner, as it sprays water in the first five seconds of dry vacuuming to protect the HEPA filter from clogging.
- To check whether water continues to be emitted after the first 5 seconds, remove the cover over the brush roller, restart the appliance, select Dry Mode and check that water is coming out of the nozzle. If water continues to escape after 5 seconds, there is a defect in the appliance. In this case, the appliance must be sent for inspection and repair.
The self-cleaning doesn’t work after charging station docking.
- Activate self-cleaning mode: Single click on the self-cleaning button/water level control.
- Activate drying mode: Long press on the self-cleaning button /water level control

1. Please check the following:
- Check the nozzle: Check whether the nozzle sprays water.
2. Possible causes:
- No water in the fresh water tank.
- The sealing ring is missing or installed the wrong way round.
- The nozzle under the roller cover is blocked.
- The hose of the fresh water tank is loose.
- The contact of the HEPA filter has been lost.
- Water pump defective - the appliance must be sent for inspection and repair.

- Ensure HEPA and the wastewater tank are installed properly.
Why is the usage time of my Uwant D100 vacuum cleaner shorter than expected?
The usage time of your Uwant D100 varies depending on the mode it operates in:
- Dry Mode: The battery life can last up to 35 minutes.
- Smart Mode: The battery life is approximately 24 minutes, which is normal.
- Turbo Mode: The battery life is around 20 minutes.
The advertised battery life of up to 35 minutes refers to the maximum possible duration, achievable in Dry Mode.
D100 leaves water streaks on the floor
To avoid water stains when using the D100, please observe the following recommendations:
1. use the correct ratio of cleaning solution: make sure you use the correct amount of cleaning solution. For the D100, the recommended ratio is 1:30 (1 liter of water and 30 milliliters of solution). The correct mixture can significantly improve the cleaning results.
2. perform slow and steady movements: Try to move the appliance steadily and evenly across the floor. This contributes to a more even cleaning and reduces the risk of streaking.
3. adjust the water level: Depending on the type of floor, water streaks may be visible. To minimize this, experiment with the water level settings to find the optimal balance for your particular floor type.
Can it be used to vacuum carpets?
Yes, the D100 can theoretically be used on carpets, but it is not ideal. If the D100 is only used to vacuum carpets, this can easily lead to clogging of the HEPA filter and affect the suction performance. To counteract this, the D100 sprays water on the brush during the first 5 seconds in dry mode to prevent the HEPA filter from clogging.
This can cause the carpet to become slightly damp. We therefore recommend using the D100 mainly on hard floors.
Why is my D100 not charging and why is there only 1 battery bar flashing on the display?
If the device has run until it is completely discharged and turned itself off due to an empty battery, please follow these steps:
1. Place the D100 on the charging station to initiate the recharging process.
2. After approximately 10 minutes, the automatic drying function should start.
3. An additional 60–90 minutes are needed for the orange blinking battery indicator, initially showing only one bar, to display a second bar and eventually switch from blinking orange to solid green.
As the device charges, the battery status will gradually update. The bars on the display will appear one by one to indicate the charging progress:
- 1 bar represents approximately 20% charge,
- 2 bars indicate about 40%, and so on, until the battery is fully charged at 100%.
In total, it takes around 6 hours for the D100 to fully recharge. Make sure the device remains undisturbed on the charging station with an active power supply during this period.
If the issue persists after following these steps, it may indicate a defect, and further assistance would be required. For further help, please do not hesitate to contact Customer Support.
