1. Battery and old device disposal
Our obligation to inform according to the Battery Act:
In connection with the distribution of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can return old batteries that we carry or have carried in our range as new batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol of the crossed out garbage can means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by mass
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass.
Please note the above instructions.
Old batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries to our shipping warehouse free of charge or ship them to us at your own expense. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. Alternatively, you can also hand in the batteries in question at sales points. The levy is limited to quantities usual for the end user and to used batteries that the retailer carries or has carried in its range as new batteries. Used batteries can also be handed in at municipal collection points.

Batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines the classification as containing pollutants. You can return used batteries to us at the following address:

2. Note in accordance with the Old Equipment Ordinance (ElektroG)
There is also a legal obligation to return old electrical devices. After use, you can return them to our showroom, to a municipal collection point or to a local specialist retailer. You can return used equipment to us at the following address:

The return option is limited to small old devices under 25 cm, to old devices that we have or have had in our range, and to the quantity that end users usually get rid of.
